Shurink Universe Precautions
You can wash your face and apply makeup right after the procedure, but using a low-irritation cleanser is recommended.
Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, sauna/steam rooms for a week after the procedure.
Some individuals may experience temporary skin tingling, slight swelling, bruising, or redness.
To maintain the effects of the ultrasound heat in the skin, it is recommended to wash your face with lukewarm water for three days after the procedure.
Apply sunscreen and moisturizer after the procedure, and consider taking antioxidants such as Vitamin C.
FAQ
Both procedures use heat stimulation to achieve lifting effects deep in the skin. Shurink delivers ultrasonic heat energy to the SMAS layer (deeper than the dermis), promoting elasticity from inside out. InMode uses RF heat energy that stays within the dermis and is effective for fine wrinkles and tightening. Combining both procedures can maximize lifting effects.
Shurink and Ulthera operate on the same principle. Ulthera is an FDA-approved device from the U.S., allowing precise procedures by visualizing skin layers. It has a longer-lasting effect but is more painful. Shurink, a Korean copy of Ulthera, is less painful but has a shorter duration. Choose Ulthera for long-lasting effects and Shurink for cost-efficient lifting.
Shurink Universe uses the same HIFU technology but includes additional MP mode and ultra-booster handpieces for more delicate lifting. Shurink is limited to Normal mode.
The Ultra F handpiece generates linear energy and is suitable for wide areas. The Ultra Booster handpiece creates circular energy, ideal for detailed areas like facial edges.
MP mode creates LINE-type thermal coagulation points (TCP), enhancing procedure speed and effectiveness for contouring and tightening.
Eye Shurink uses a 2.0mm tip for delicate areas like the eyes and mouth, effectively improving sagging eyelids.
